Prison Ministry Links
The following links are provided to help you locate other ministries that
may be of assistance to you in bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ into the
lives of prison inmates or their families. Information published in these sites
may or may not represent CA’s doctrinal views (CA's Statement of
Belief). It is for each of us to diligently seek the truth of the gospel
wherever it is found and embrace it.
- Amazing Bible - The emphasis of this site is the Word of
God. Sound Bible doctrine is given, not a host of worldly stories. Our
goal is to present this information in such a way that even a child can
understand. By God’s mercy, we hope you will find this to be one of the
more user-friendly and informative "Bible" teaching sites on the
web.
- American Bible Academy -
Provides inmates with free 120-page Bible correspondence courses in
English and Spanish. These comprehensive courses are written by
Bible College professors & Christian educators. Inmates may write to American Bible
Academy, PO Box 1627, Joplin, MO 64802.
- Bible Believers
Fellowship, Inc. - provide prison chaplains with free Christian
literature and videos.
- Chapel of Hope -
prison ministry building inmate chapels in Texas prisons to reduce
recidivism.
- Christian
Library International - CLI provides Christian books and materials to
over 900 prisons, shelters and international outreaches - free of charge.
- Church of Christ Prison
Ministry of Florida - believes that as long as there are prisons,
Christians should minister to prisoners.
- Conquest House, Inc. -
helping ex-offenders reintegrate successfully into society through
mentoring, employment training, Bible study, and other support services.
- Crossroad
Bible Institute - has been
working for over 25 years to provide a comprehensive, in-depth, long
term Bible study and discipleship program for prisoners around the
world.
- Hope Aglow - dedicated to
reaching prisoners with the message of Christ's love and whose goal is not
rehabilitation, but regeneration.
- Institute for Prison
Ministries (IPM) - a division of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton
College, Wheaton, Illinois, is dedicated to the advancement of prison
evangelization. IPM works through networks, collaborations and strategic
partnerships to provide leadership and training to those engaged in
correctional ministries for the advancement of the Gospel. IPM serves in
three key ways: Evangelism, Education/Training, and Resources.

- Living Praise Ministries
- dedicated to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to those in prison.
- Loved Ones of Prisoners
- ministering to prisoners and their loved ones thru Bible study,
seminars, and study courses.
- Mike Barber Ministries -
a Christ-centered, non-denominational, ministry that holds crusades in
prisons across the nation. They take in free world, lay volunteers to
minister one-on-one to the inmates in their living areas, as well as
holding full-blown church services each night of the crusade.
- National Prayer Bank - is a
website to encourage prayer in our country and around the world. You
can pray for others or post your own prayer requests for healing,
finances, marriage restoration, spiritual growth, those in prison, and
other needs. As a means of encouragement, a Prayer Registry is
created for each Prayer Request showing who has prayed. You can click on any
name on the Registry and pray for that person. Updates are
automatically sent to everyone who has prayed for a Request and also when
a Prayer Request is answered.

- non-profit organization providing support to full-time volunteer yard
pastors under the direction of state chaplains. The goal for inmates is
spiritual freedom in prison and success in society.
- Philadelphians - Christian
prison outreach ministry.
- Prison Fellowship International - a global, Christian
association of national, criminal justice ministries.
- Prison Fellowship Ministries - nonprofit, volunteer-reliant
organization focused on one overriding vision: that all those involved in
and impacted by crime will experience the grace and peace of Jesus Christ.
- Prisoners For Christ -
nondenominational organization dedicated to taking the gospel of Jesus
Christ into the jails, prisons, and juvenile centers.
- Refuge
Ministries Canada - Equipping the local church across Canada and
around the World to do prison ministry in their community
while providing them with all the resources to do this effectively.
- and their
families as well as those who have created their own prison through
addictions.
- Shekinah Ministries - Bible studies
in Adams, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld, Colorado county jails. Scheduled
seminars in Colorado state prisons. Elderly services in Longmont, Colorado
area living centers.
- Straight Ahead Ministries
- trains volunteers to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to incarcerated
youth.
- Studies in Grace -
This ministry provides Bible studies free of charge to prisoners and
inmates. The Bible lessons are also for all who wish to learn of
God's grace and forgiveness.
- United Prison Ministries International - distributes
Christian literature to prisoners in the U.S. and other countries.
